Memorial Day in 2021 falls on May 31st. Officially named a federal holiday in 1971, Memorial Day was in earlier years referred to as Decoration Day and started after the Civil War. At that time people were holding tributes to the thousands of fallen American Soldiers that died in the Civil War. The tradition was to decorate graves with beautiful flowers and recite prayers. Today, in addition to visiting memorials, people attend or participate in parades and have family gatherings.

Steve’s Flowers and Gifts was created in 1973 by Steve and Linda Huth. The very skilled floral designers at Steve’s Flowers and Gifts create beautiful flowers for all occasions, holidays and themed for social events. We employ an awarding winning team of professional floral designers. These folks create luxurious, upscale social event floral packages. Our staff has years of experience creating flower arrangements for birthday parties, mitzvah celebrations, graduations, proms and homecoming, social gatherings and events. Our firm provides turn-key event flower packages. These packages include design, delivery and set-up at the event facility.
The company purchases many of the flowers sold to customers directly from the flower farms. This ensures that all customers always have access to a wide array of floral varieties. It also ensures that Steve’s Flowers and Gifts reduces the time between when the flowers are cut at the farm and when we can use them in creating an arrangement. We guarantee that every social event floral arrangement we create and deliver will be professionally designed and farm fresh.
Steve’s Flowers and Gifts owns a greenhouse, card and gift display area, design room, plant department, and a large receiving and delivery area. This makes for a wonderful client experience.
